Art lovers will also want to take in the many other pieces of outdoor art, including the Haiku Pathway, a pleasant walking trail that follows the Uretara Stream and is lined with boulders engraved with haiku poems.
Pakiri Beach, New Zealand

Access to the beach is via a spectacular winding road that cuts through gorges and then along a 10-15 minute walking track. Once there you are pretty much guaranteed to have the beach to yourself.
