Access to the beach is along a long sandy trail and takes roughly 10 minutes. For those that are not surfers there are plenty of walks and magical views around the cliffs and hills.

While it’s not far from Sa’Moana resort about 45 minutes from Apia or an hour from the airport, it’s a quiet, sheltered cove, hidden away from the rest of the world. The calm waters are great for swimming and snorkelling. There are some quite new Beach fales, most with with ceiling fans but a couple with air conditioning and there’s a good restaurant and bar. Virgin Cove is an idyllic and very popular spot for couples and honeymooners.
